Anotida Madzvamuse is a full Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He holds a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Theoretical and Computational Biology. Prior to joining UBC, he served as Professor of Mathematical and Computational Biology at the University of Sussex (2006 - 2022: rising from Assistant, Associate to full Professor). Madzvamuse is an African-British scholar working at the interface between Mathematics and its applications in Experimental Sciences (Developmental, Cellular and Plant Biology) and Epidemiology.
